That is the best generation
Dodge Challenger. People need to stop the

Ah yes, the Mitsubishi Colt Sapporo.
Great car but hated the beige corduroy interior when I was young.

“heavy 2,800 lb two door"

intended for driving fun, sticker of $9,200. Car Gurus says the 1982 trans am had a sticker of $
10,000, so whoever bought this was a sucker.

“best generation Dodge Challenger.”
4 Cylinders only, V8 not available

“Ment for Going” 10 seconds to 60
“Heavy” only 2800lbs
Times sure have changed

That one made me sad. Out Fit is 2800s and it’s a sub compact.

And ooooold

I would lose my shit if a new car came with corduroy interior, but I’d prefer green or blue

It has a Hemi. What is the problem? :p
Also, it’s Japanese quality. Actually has some engineering shit put into it and not haphazardly thrown together by accountants.
The second-gen Challenger is the predecessor to the
Starion/Con
quest and a
very early ancestor to the DSM cars of the 90s. Cool stuff.

It was a 1982 Mitsubishi Colt Sapporo GSR, in metallic brown, brown interior, with beige corduroy seats and panels.
As a kid wearing shorts, on any sort of long distance, the corduroy would leave red and white lines on the back of your legs and on very long distance journeys it was painful.
Never again.

Mitsubishi Scorpion!

That is the base price for the Trans Am. The base price for the Challenger was $8,000 according to Car Gurus. Based on price, power, and weight the Challenger is a better alternative to the I4 and V6 (not turbo) Firebirds, so buy the V8 or buy the Challenger.

Elsewhere in the thread it was compared to the Firebird, based on power, price, and weight it is better than the I4 and V6 (non-turbo) Firebirds.

Except the Challenger was a much better car in terms of quality. OK fine, the TA had T-tops, whi
ch are awesome, but still.

Still would have bought the base T/A
